At Lazy 'RT' Ranch we're honest with ourselves and others. We work
hard and don't take short cuts. We listen to others and learn
something
new every day.
We want to be able to see the hard work
and time that we put into each one of our horses be successful.
It takes common sense
and patience when you deal with horses. They are like children,
there are no two alike. You have to treat them as individuals from
the time they are born. Some will take longer to learn than others,
and some will pick things up the first time you show them. They
have to learn to trust you first before you can trust them. You
can never do too much ground work, they have to understand what
you are asking them for on the ground first before you get on their
back. Listen to opinions from others when you are having a problem,
if you learn to take a little bit from each persons advice you
will be able to solve the problem. We are not perfect and we
don't know everything, but the horse is a teacher too. You can
learn something from every horse that you ride. It is a big
accomplishment to watch horses grow and learn, and know that you
were a part of it.

Thank you to Teddi Meek of Sallisaw, Oklahoma . Teddi is our racing trainer, who contacted us by the looks of our former stallion, now gelding, Khaby Bullion. She came across Khaby's picture in the weekly Speed Horse magazine. When she contacted us, we knew it was finally time for our hard work to pay off. We flew to Oklahoma right away to meet Teddi and to make our final decision about Khaby going. Automatically we fell in love with her! She has a huge heart for horses, as well as we do. We knew right then that Khaby was going to love her as well.
We are so excited to see our boy succeed and can't wait for the win picture! We ALL here at Lazy "RT" say, Thank You !!
